Due to the enormous success of our Picture Galleries about recent events, Spirit of Fuerteventura has added more Picture Galleries to their Web Site. Now you also can find Picture Galleries in Spirit Stops ™, an information platform about the best things on Fuerteventura. Just click on the Spirit Stops ™ tab in our web site. Please click on Picture Galleries/Events to view picture reports about the most important events. Spirit of Fuerteventura is proud to announce the creation of a Forum that will act as a platform to interchange opinions about several topics that are occupying us in our daily life and beyond. To begin with, we clustered some topics into 2 main groups: - Life Themes (any major theme of life e.g.: relationships, attitude, personal freedom…) - Meditation & Energy Sessions (types and benefits of these sessions, presented in an interactive way) This communication platform has enjoyed much interest and we now have enlarged the scope of this initiative: since the beginning of March the Action-Blog ™ platform is also used to publish pictures of the most important events. Already now you can enjoy the nice pictures of the 5th International Blues Festival in Corralejo, the theatre performance “Planeta Guor” from the group “Liber-Arte” and a Charity Walk initiated by Anna to support OKAPI/Twinkle Trust. El Campanario Corralejo Pictures: (C) Spirit of Fuerteventura Impressions A Charity Walk was held on Saturday 10th April starting from 3 p.m. from the Cultural Centre, Triquivijate. A lady called Anna, who lives in the village, as part of her 70th birthday celebrations, has initiated it.
Spirit of Fuerteventura would like to thank all the people who made this event possible. It was a marvellous experience to enjoy the Blues and to see people from all over the world being united by the only common language: emotions. Music is a universal way to communicate these emotions and therefore should be supported with high priority. Fuerteventura can become an island that is renowned as a place where music can thrive and where people are welcome to enjoy a peaceful time. Now that the stage is empty and that we go back to our daily life, we all could think about how to enlarge the profile of this island. For those who’d like to put some energy into this thought, please send your ideas to our contact address and we will make time to evaluate your suggestions and distribute them through our website. If it weren’t for the time schedule, he would have continued to play. All participants and the public – young and old - enjoyed it very much.
