Spirit of Fuerteventura would like to thank all the people who made this event possible. It was a marvellous experience to enjoy the Blues and to see people from all over the world being united by the only common language: emotions. Music is a universal way to communicate these emotions and therefore should be supported with high priority. Fuerteventura can become an island that is renowned as a place where music can thrive and where people are welcome to enjoy a peaceful time. Now that the stage is empty and that we go back to our daily life, we all could think about how to enlarge the profile of this island. For those who’d like to put some energy into this thought, please send your ideas to our contact address and we will make time to evaluate your suggestions and distribute them through our website. She and her band – although all still young – really impressed all people with their sound and professional quality.The public was hypnotised and asked for more, even after an almost 2 hour performance. Spirit of Fuerteventura quiere agradecer a todos aquellos que han hecho posible este evento. Ha sido una experiencia maravillosa poder disfrutar del Blues y ver gente de todos los rincones del mundo unidos por un unioo lenguaje comun: el de las emociones. La musica es una via universal que permite comunicar esas emociones, y por ello deberia estar fuertemente apoyada. Fuerteventura puede llegar a hacerse famosa como una isla donde la musica puede prosperar y donde la gente es bienvenida para disfrutar de un tiempo de relax y paz. Ahora que el escenario vuelve a estar vacio y todos nosotros hemos vuelto al dia a dia, podriamos pararnos a pensar un momento en como poder ampliar el perfil de nuestra isla. After his swirling performance in the Corralejo auditorium, Larry Garner came down to the Shopping Centre “El Campanario” to have some rest and meet some people. What started as a fine Blues jam session between local musicians ended up in an astonishing live show with Larry.
